Thank you, but I still don't have the option. It's not a huge deal though. :)

Woohoo! Thanks CMR

Parasite, the South Korean film that won Best Picture. It was not what it was expecting at all. Really, really good. It totally deserves best picture but I'm really surprised it won it because a) it's enjoyable and b) it's not the kind of film that usually does.

Keep in Touch / Fav Christmas Gift?
« on: December 31, 2020, 02:33:00 PM »
So I know Christmas isn't really about the gifts, but I thought it might be fun to share what we received that we are most exited/ happy/ surprised with.

For me, it was these beautiful Puma Sonic the Hedgehog RS-X3 trainers my in-laws gifted me. I'm not interested in fashion at the best of times and I care even less about shoes, but these are just so frikking cool. Someone their release completely passed me by so it was a huge surprise to receive them. The question now is do I wear them or just keep them mint?  :P

Thanks SO much for setting this up, CMR. It's great to see so many familiar folks here. (I went by JD on the previous forum).
BTW, how do we add an avatar here? I'm probably being really daft, but I just can't find the option  to add one.  :eh:

Welcome JoeyPajamas / JD
I had to approve your user first (in order to avoid spammers) - I think you can change your avatar now :)

Thank you, but I still don't have the option. It's not a huge deal though. :)

Thanks B.

I ordered some really nice Christmas plates from Williams Sonoma, and one of them arrived broken. It's such a silly thing but I'm really upset about it  :eh:

I can understand that. It's SO frustrating when it happens. You'd think the post would take care of people's stuff.

General Liv Discussion / Favourite Pics of Liv!

This was a popular thread on the old forum, so I thought it'd be fun to reinvigorate it here. As tempting as it was to use the Essence by Triumph images as my favourite  :teehee:, I'm going to go for this one as she looks so stunningly elegant.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Rianon.

As for myself, things are a bit crazy. My wife's mother is going in for brain surgery in a few weeks, and her dad, who works for the merchant navy, has just left on a four month trip. I'm still looking for work after being made redundant during the first UK lockdown. Spending my time applying for jobs, writing and drawing. It's all a bit crazy.

Kind of rediscovered Goldfrapp recently. Really enjoying relistening to their albums. Think Strict Machine might be my favourite track.

My wife and I have been re-watching all the MCU films. Most recent was Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. I remember being disappointed by it when I saw it in the cinema, but when we re-watched it I really enjoyed it. My wife felt the same. Strange how that happens.
